The H.U. Lee International Gate & Garden in Little Rock
The name "Haeng Ung Lee" – well, I’m not entirely sure how Korean romanization works 📝, but it does look a bit different from what we’re used to, doesn’t it? This place is called the H.U. Lee International Gate & Garden, but it seems to be more of a Taekwondo cultural center or training hall 🥋 – maybe even a space dedicated to the legacy of H.U. Lee himself. At the entrance stand two stone statues bowing slightly – a gesture in Taekwondo where junior students show respect to seniors. Here, they likely symbolize a warm welcome to every visitor 🙏. Then there’s a wall of names that kind of makes you pause 😳 – you know, usually names go up on walls for certain reasons… But here, it seems to honor the founders and key figures of this institution. A woman’s name is also engraved with the surname Lee – perhaps his wife? 👩❤️👨 #Arkansas #LittleRock #Taekwondo #KoreanCulture #HiddenSpots
