Because we were in a hurry but didn't want to miss the popular check-in spot Vivoli's Affogato, we cleverly stumbled upon the hidden gem restaurant Osteria San Simone right across from it 💎 Highlights: 1️⃣ If you're in a group of two or more, you can split up. One part of the group can calmly order food while the others go to queue at Vivoli. After taking a photo outside, you can also gently negotiate with the waiter to bring the Affogato into the restaurant and enjoy it quietly and quickly.🍜🍜🍜 2️⃣ We randomly ordered three dishes, and each one was amazing: The bacon pasta was rich and satisfying, coated with a generous amount of egg yolk; the black truffle steak had a unique truffle sauce that enhanced the flavor, with the aroma of truffle complementing the 70% cooked steak. I'm still reminiscing about it; and the beef ragù pasta was simply divine. I have to say, Italians are truly artists when it comes to making pasta.❤️❤️❤️ 3️⃣ The waiter had a cool demeanor but was very kind-hearted. Seeing that we enjoyed the pistachio-flavored Affogato, he offered us a complimentary taste of their homemade pistachio liqueur before we left. The nutty aroma combined with the rich and smooth texture of the pistachio left a lasting impression.
