Attention! This place is a scam for tourists!

We were looking for the place to eat and picked this one because it was highly rated. But one need to have really low food standards to estimate it that high. We left disappointed, worst food experience in Florence.

Food: We ordered pasta with meat. The pasta was OVERCOOKED. Meat was cooked yesterday and used today. Even I can cook better at home. My friend and I were not able to complete the dish taking into account that we were really hungry. Also they brought horribly looking bread and we even haven’t tried it

Price: My friend and I ordered same pasta and orange juice. I know that our pasta costs 16 euro. Our bill was 55.50. We wanted to leave a place as soon as possible so just paid it without looking. But after we realised that they scammed us for real. So 55.50 (bill total) - 32 (pasta) = 23.50 euro. So I don’t really know what exactly resulted in 23.50 cause except pasta we ordered 2 orange juice glasses and that’s it. Probably they charged for the bread and service even though both were horrible.

Summary: it’s a trap for the tourist just in front of the touristic attraction. They don’t need to cook nice food since their visitors are not supposed to come again. Huge...

Food to be honest more of a hit an miss Vegetbale soup - bland no flavor, need to add salt to enhamce and save the soup. But no harm done, the salts help. Smoke salmon - to be fair impossible to do wrong. Devil steak - as the name suggest devil steak, steak is very bad but not inedible, very bland, need to add salt, no flavor at all, meat very rubbery waste of good meat. The sauce for devil steak no flavor, not salty enough, not spicy enough just peper flavor. It is just sad, just bad. I reckon to do quality check for the steak.

Service - I don't want to name our server,positive side he is very friendly but not helpful, very enthusiatic server but very forceful. The server keep forcing us to order more when i told him i have already decided and i just want a light dinner, just unbelievable.

Atmosphere - very cozy nice place almost at the center of florence.

For the price just too expensive to compare with the quality of food being serve, it feels like robbery. Spend about 90eur for 1soup, 1 appertizer, 1 main dish and 2 house...
