🌟 The Historic City of Yazd in Iran is truly a charming place!

Walking along the quiet streets, the earth-colored houses seem to tell ancient stories, while the cars and motorcycles parked at the doors add a touch of modernity. The entire atmosphere is serene and delightful. The streets here crisscross like a giant maze, making you want to keep exploring to see what surprises lie around the next corner. It reminds me a bit of the ancient city of Kashgar and its high-platform dwellings, but it has its own unique charm that makes you feel especially comfortable.🏡 As you walk along the path towards the city center, you’ll encounter mosques🕌 and enthusiastic children who greet you warmly. Their smiles are as warm as sunshine. The Ziaieh School, also known as Alexander’s Prison, was built in the 15th century. Legend has it that the deep well in the courtyard was a dungeon built by Alexander the Great when he invaded Persia. It sounds so mysterious!🔍 Though the decorations on the roof have peeled off, this kind of fragmented beauty has its own unique flavor, as if it were telling the story of the passage of time.🖼️ At the entrance, I met a group of local young people who greeted us warmly and welcomed us to visit. I also bought a couple of ceramic refrigerator magnets here for 2.5 million tomans, which are super unique!🛍 The Masjed-e Jameh🕌 is the largest and most historically rich mosque complex in Iran. Comprising four religious buildings from different eras, it showcases the evolution of Islamic architecture over 800 years, blending features from the Seljuk, Mongol, and Safavid periods.🏛 Visitors are required to wear robes upon entering the mosque, and upon exiting, each person is given a small, sweet round cookie, which is absolutely delicious!🍪 The mosque’s minarets soar into the sky, and standing beneath them, you can’t help but be awestruck by their grandeur.✨ Exiting the mosque, you’re greeted by the bustling commercial street of the ancient city, a stark contrast to the tranquility of the mosque.🛍️ The Historic City of Yazd in Iran is truly a place that leaves you reluctant to leave.
