The Hotel Even Marilyn Monroe Couldn’t Bear to Leave 🌟✨
Returning to LA after eight years, we stayed at the historic Hollywood Roosevelt Hotel right on the Walk of Fame. This century-old hotel oozes nostalgic charm. In 1987, David Hockney spent four hours painting the entire pool with crescent-shaped blue patterns—a true work of art. From our room, a short path led straight to the pool, where we spent our days soaking up the California sun. ☀️🏊♀️ Just beyond the walls lies the bustling Walk of Fame. We drove just 17 minutes to Griffith Observatory and witnessed LA at 5 a.m.—and were lucky enough to catch a stunning purple sunrise. Behind us, the entire city of La La Land unfolded~ 🌆 💫 Griffith Observatory 📍 2800 E Observatory Rd, Los Angeles, CA 90027 ✔️ Filming location of La La Land—the real deal! ✔️ Highly recommend catching sunrise here. Drive straight to the山顶停车场 with few crowds and easy parking. ✔️ Watching the sunrise here is truly moving—seeing Los Angeles transform colors before your eyes. 💫 The Hollywood Roosevelt Hotel 📍 Located on Hollywood Walk of Fame, steps from the Chinese Theatre. ✔️ Part of the Preferred Hotels & Resorts "Lifestyle" collection. ✔️ A legendary icon of Hollywood’s golden age—hosted the first Oscars in 1929, and Marilyn Monroe lived here for two years. ✔️ Our room opened directly to the pool area, where movies are screened in the evening. Watching a film on Hollywood Boulevard—now that’s a truly glamorous Hollywood experience. 🎬🍿 #LosAngeles #LAHotels #USATravel #California #HollywoodWalkOfFame #HistoricHotels #MovieMagic #GriffithObservatory #LaLaLand #SunriseGoals #LuxuryTravel #OldHollywood #PoolsideVibes #TravelDiaries
