The Hottest & Prettiest Dining Spot in K-town, LA โ€” Danbi ๐Ÿ˜

I canโ€™t believe I only tried this place now โ€” what was I waiting for?! Personally, I really enjoyed the food here, but it might be because I have a sweet tooth ๐Ÿฏโœจ (most dishes lean sweet). My friend prefers savory flavors and thought it was just okay. ๐Ÿต Luv U So Matcha An intensely rich matcha-infused cocktail โ€” even the foam is packed with matcha flavor (after the first sip, I was wondering if Iโ€™d sleep tonight ๐Ÿ˜‚). Balanced with citrus and passion fruit notes. Great flavor, but the alcohol is strong โ€” I split it into two glasses and added water, and it was just right for me. ๐Ÿฏ Honey Butter Chips My favorite dish of the night! The chips arenโ€™t as crispy as Layโ€™s, but you can tell theyโ€™re freshly fried. The honey butter sauce is thick and coats every chip โ€” so satisfying, I couldnโ€™t stop eating! Finished the plate in no time. ๐Ÿฅฉ Tartare Raw beef paired with bone marrow โ€” a unique combo! Served with fried lotus root chips instead of toasted bread. Personally, I prefer bread โ€” the lotus chips are too thin to hold the meat well. ๐Ÿš Uni Bibimbap Probably their most popular and prettiest dish! Sea urchin and sweet shrimp bibimbap. I loved the sweet flavor, but my friend thought it was too sweet and got cloying. ๐Ÿซ“ Scallop Pancake My least favorite โ€” nothing special here. The pancake was thick, topped with small scallops, and became greasy as it cooled. ๐Ÿฅฉ Zabuton Charcoal-grilled American Wagyu shoulder โ€” very tender and a generous portion. Too much for two people to finish! Plus, each order comes with garlic-oil rice and kimchi โ€” the rice was fragrant and paired perfectly with the sweet grilled beef. So satisfying! ๐ŸŒฝ Oksusu Latte Visually creative and presentation gets full marks, but flavor was just okay (6/10). Top layer: foamy sea salt cream. Middle: corn tea jelly. Bottom: coffee granita. The server emphasized scooping all layers at once for the full experience โ€” eating it layer by layer felt a bit underwhelming. ๐Ÿง Honey Yuzu Tea Granita Honey yuzu tea-flavored shaved ice โ€” refreshing and tasty! #Foodie #LALife #LAEats #LosAngelesFood #KtownLA #PrettyFood #MatchaLover #WagyuTime
