The Mansion Restaurant: A Date Night Review
đThe Mansion Restaurant is a fine dining restaurant located within the Rosewood Mansion hotel, situated in the upscale Turtle Creek neighborhood of Dallas Uptown. The dress code is smart casual. We initially chose this place for its ambiance to celebrate an anniversary, but we were truly impressed by the food! The service was impeccable, making us feel right at home. We opted for the Chefâs Seasonal Tasting Menu, the Discovery seven-course option. Each dish was beautifully plated and, despite the modest portions, we were more than satisfied after seven courses. âšEvery dish was a delight, offering a delightful surprise to the palate. The Tuna was fresh and invigorating, awakening our taste buds. The foie gras with strawberry sauce was incredibly smooth and rich. The carrot soup was creamy and comforting. The flounder was delicate and flavorful. Initially, I was hesitant about the goat cheese, but it was surprisingly not gamey and had a delightful texture. đThe star of the meal was the smoked duck breast! Iâve never tasted such tender duck breastâit was so good it made us go starry-eyed after the first bite. The pre-dessert sorbet was a perfect balance of sweet and tangy, cleansing the palate. The final dish, an orange and grapefruit cheesecake, was unexpectedly refreshing with just the right amount of sweetness. Overall, it was an amazing experience! âșThey change their menu periodically, so if youâre interested, be sure to make a reservation soon. You can book through Open Table. Fun fact: Thereâs a cat bed right by the hotel entrance, and there was a cat napping soundly on it. It was so adorable!
