The Most Authentic New York-Style Bagels in Dallas 🄯

ā¤ļøI’ve walked past this place countless times—it’s right next to the SMU bookstore area, but I never really paid attention until an American friend recommended it to me! I’m a typical bagel lover, and I usually go for sweeter options in the morning. ā¤ļøWhen we visited, it was pretty late—around 2:30 pm on a Saturday. The selection of bagels in the store was a bit limited by that time. We both chose the French Toast Bagel. I went with the Classic Lox, which is salmon-based and absolutely delicious! I swapped it for Scallion Cream Cheese. The combination of sweet and savory was perfect and really satisfied my taste buds. It was just what my stomach needed. 🌈My boyfriend ordered the Spicy Shug, which comes with bacon, egg, pepper jack cheese, and hot sauce. It was also really good and not very spicy. But he forgot to get it toasted! Don’t make that mistake—it’s definitely better warm. Otherwise, it just doesn’t taste as good. 🌈If you’re shopping at North Park, you can easily stop by here. The prices are a bit on the higher side—two bagels and a black coffee came to around $35. Next time, I’ll try to get something cheaper! The portions are quite generous. I couldn’t finish mine, but my boyfriend managed to eat all of his. Store Name: Shug’s Bagels šŸŽˆ 3020 Mockingbird Ln, Dallas, TX 75205 There’s another location at: šŸŽˆ 4001 Lemmon Ave, Dallas, TX 75219 (I didn’t go to this one because it has fewer reviews.) #DallasExploration #BagelSandwich #DallasLife #Bagels #DallasFood #DallasFoodRecommendation
