The Most Satisfying Omakase I’ve Had in LA So Far! ✨🍣

This place has held two Michelin stars for five consecutive years β€” and it shows. Every course was stunning. Heard it’s a global chain with locations in Tokyo and Shanghai, so I was extra curious β€” and it did not disappoint! Plus, it wasn’t too hard to book. πŸ“Œ From the appetizers, loved the grilled scallop, octopus, and red snapper β€” each incredibly fragrant and delicate. The crab and monkfish liver (p10) were also amazing β€” perfect with sake. πŸ“Œ So much uni! From the chawanmushi to the uni rice β€” absolutely divine. πŸ“Œ Sushi was perfectly seasoned β€” favorites were the silver-skinned fish and the shrimp. They even showed us an iPad with photos of each fish before serving β€” super helpful (even if I didn’t remember all the names πŸ˜…). πŸ“Œ We added an extra abalone course β€” served with rich sauce, so fresh and satisfying. Dessert was thoughtful too! Overall, an experience that exceeded expectations. With the abalone add-on, we had 20 courses β€” each outstanding and genuinely filling. With drinks, came to ~$600 per person. πŸ“ Sushi Ginza Onodera 609 N La Cienega Blvd, West Hollywood, CA 90069 πŸ…ΏοΈ Valet available. #Omakase #LAEats #GlobalFoodie #JapaneseCuisine #Sushi #LosAngeles #HiddenGem
