The Must‑Eat in LA is Marinated Crab! 🦀🦀

LA has tons of great food, but most categories at least have decent alternatives in the Bay Area. Except for marinated crab — there’s truly NO substitute! I haven’t even found a rival in Vancouver or Manhattan… Every LA trip includes at least one crab meal, and I’ve even asked colleagues to bring it up to the Bay Area for me. For best flavor → Master HA For best value → HanEuem Master HA is the marinated crab expert!🙌❤️ ✅ Large, plump roe — medium size is enough for two ✅ Upgrade to premium for even better quality ✅ Perfect seasoning — balanced salty‑sweet, not overly salty ✅ Can add uni, salmon, or abalone to the crab — heavenly combo😊 ✅ Live uni (must‑order!) and marinated shrimp are also amazing ✅ Try the Bowl Combo if you don’t want to shell — comes with rice and sides💕🙌 ❌ Short menu — limited options beyond raw marinated dishes ❌ Can be hard on an empty stomach — recommend ordering hot soup ❌ Often busy — expect waits; closed Sundays ❌ Pricey, but worth it in my opinion! HanEuem offers great value! ✅ $95 for soy‑marinated crab + spicy marinated crab + marinated shrimp — enough to stuff two people ✅ Spicy crab is large and flavorful ✅ Marinated shrimp are big, fresh, and bouncy ✅ Big menu like most Korean spots — more choices overall ✅ Great soups & noodles — recommended by LA local friends ✅ Rarely a wait, open 7 days a week (until after midnight on weekends) ❌ Soy‑marinated crab is smaller, seasoning not as refined as Master HA ❌ Fewer raw seafood varieties — no uni or salmon options; crab and shrimp come shell‑on #LosAngeles #LAFood #LATravel #LAFoodie #LADining #LALife #LA 🦀🍚✨
