The Nostalgic Taste of a Century-Old Cuban Bakery!
Hidden in a brick-lined alley of Tampa's historic Ybor City, this bakery—as local friends say—has been around since 1915. The moment you push open the door, you're greeted by the warm, buttery aroma, and glass cases are filled with palm-sized Cuban bread, selling for just $1.50 a loaf. My friend and I were absolutely amazed—she said it was one of the most delicious breads she’s ever tasted! 🥪 The signature Cuban sandwich comes with ham and roast pork by default, and the guava cheese rolls in the fridge are also delightful. Dipping the bread in Café con leche (coffee with milk) was a surprising treat too. ⚠️ Note: Cash only! There's an ATM at the alley entrance, but the fee is high. Lines get long on weekend afternoons, so it’s best to arrive before 10 a.m. 📍La Segunda Bakery and Cafe #TampaTravel #CubanSandwich #YborCity
