The Peppery Thai Restaurant

📍 25 Pearl St, Braintree, MA 02184 ———————————————————————————— It’s quite surprising! I often pass by this area on my way to a friend’s house, yet I had no idea this Thai restaurant existed—even my friend didn’t know about it, even though it’s only a two-minute drive from their place. This spot is really hidden away! Overall, the food is decent—at least nothing major went wrong: 🍜 Royal Pad Thai – Not recommended. The regular Pad Thai is enough. The shrimp on top didn’t taste fresh and had a slight off-flavor. Plus, it’s not much different from the regular version—just wrapped in an omelet-like layer. Not worth it. 🦆 Duck Tamarind – You can skip this one. The duck was quite tough and not very enjoyable. 🍚 Jumbo Crabmeat Fried Rice – Basically just regular fried rice with some large chunks of crab meat added. Fine, but nothing special. 🥗 Soft Shell Crab Mango Salad – Order this! It’s delicious! The soft-shell crab is crispy, the mango is refreshing, and the combination is fantastic~ For other dishes, choose according to your preferences—most are fairly safe and shouldn’t disappoint. As for the atmosphere, the lighting inside is quite dim—it was the biggest complaint from my family 😅 Still, overall, it’s a nice hidden Thai spot worth trying, especially if you enjoy exploring under-the-radar restaurants~ #EverydayMoments #FoodDiary #RestaurantExploration #ThaiFood #ExoticCuisine #BostonLife
