The Place I Miss Most from Kyoto๐ข๐
During our week in Kyoto, we ditched the fast-paced sightseeing routine and took our time to visit all the shrines and temples we wanted. ๐ข๐ The one that left the deepest impression, surprisingly, was Heian Shrine, which we visited on a whim. ๐ Heian Shrine is quite large, encompassing the Great Torii Gate, the Eidai-mon Gate, the Shin-en Garden, the Daigoku-den Hall, and the Shishinden Hall. ๐ธ๐ Compared to some of Kyoto's ancient shrines, Heian Shrine is relatively young. Its architecture is distinctly Tang Dynastyโstyle, with vermilion walls, emerald tiles, soft white gravel paths, and the unique Kyoto blue sky all complementing each other. ๐๐ฟ Under the gentle sunlight, they shine particularly brightly. ๐ธ #Kyoto ๐ธ #HeianShrine ๐๏ธ
