THE RETURN OF THE GOLDEN AGE ✨
Had a partner visit our LA office today and met at the historic Normandie Hotel, Los Angeles. 🏛️ I’d long heard about this iconic hotel, but it was my first time stepping inside! With over 80 years of rich history and classic LA character, the Normandie Hotel stands today as a landmark celebrated worldwide. Its original beauty—infused with Spanish Colonial and Renaissance elements—shines through, evoking the elegance of Hollywood’s Golden Age while offering the modern luxury and comfort of a refined boutique hotel. 🌟 The hotel was designed by architects Albert R. Walker and Percy A. Eisen—the same visionary minds behind landmarks like the Beverly Wilshire Hotel, the Broadway United Theatre, and the Fine Arts Building. Born during a vibrant era of growth, the Normandie embodies the spirit of old Hollywood. 🎬 Over the years, it hosted numerous celebrated guests: British writer Malcolm Lowry stayed here while writing his famous novel Under the Volcano, and local icon Mrs. H.F. Brunner later became beloved for serving $1 turkey dinners every Sunday to the community. 🦃❤️ The hotel carries a beautiful, weathered charm—full of stories and soul. Next door, the Burger Coffee Bar and the vintage barbershop instantly transport you back to the Hollywood of the 1920s! ☕✂️ 💬 Have you ever visited a historic hotel that took you back in time?
