The Salty Pig in Boston

Wondering what to eat while shopping in Copley on the weekend? I highly recommend The Salty Pig, an Italian restaurant just a straight walk from Copley. After dining, you can cross the street and hop on the Orange Line right home โ€“ the location is prime. Price: We spent about 50๐Ÿ”ช for two people. Dish Recommendations: For two people, ordering two board meats, one board cheese, and a pizza should be plenty. Ordering a board comes with free bread, pickles, and mustard sauce. โ˜‘๏ธ Prosciutto di Parma (Langhirano, IT) Ultra-thin Parma ham thatโ€™s a bit salty on its own, but perfect when paired with bread and cheese. โ˜‘๏ธ Pork Pate (TSP) This has the texture of a mild lunch meat, with a surprise twist of pistachios, raspberries, and bacon inside. โ˜‘๏ธ Mt. Alice A very soft cheese with a texture similar to Greek cheese. โ˜‘๏ธ Salsiccia An amazing pizza with pork sausage, Italian broccoli, Italian cheese, and cherry peppers for a hint of spice. The crust is super soft, with rich flavors that are intense but not overly salty. Highly recommended! The pickles that come with the board are sweet and sour, and the mustard sauce is refreshing, both of which balance out the saltiness of the board meats. Overall, we were very satisfied. The only downside is that the environment can be a bit noisy, but weโ€™ll definitely be back! #Boston #BostonLife #BostonFood #BostonDining
