The Seafood Paella Was Mediocre, But Everything Else Was Amazing!

I recently tried Bulla Gastrobar at Legacy West, and overall, it was a pretty great experience. Here’s a quick rundown: 🥩 Paleta Ibérica de Bellota: The ham was really good, with a rich, fatty aroma and a savory, salty aftertaste. It paired perfectly with toasted bread. 🥔 HUEVOS ‘BULLA’: This dish, which I’d seen recommended on Xiaohongshu (Little Red Book), did not disappoint! The chips have a crispy texture, topped with a creamy potato foam, a soft-boiled fried egg, and ham. Each bite is a mix of salty, savory, soft, and crunchy—it’s truly delicious! 🦐 Seafood Paella: It was a typical paella, with generous portions of shrimp and shellfish. The flavors were a bit flat, but the portion size was huge. A few bites were enough to fill me up. 🍸 Cocktail: I can’t remember the name of the cocktail on the left, but I do remember it had “smoke” in the title. It was unforgettable! The rim of the glass was lined with smoked salt, and the drink itself was sweet but with a lot of depth. The first sip was a delightful surprise and really left a lasting impression. 📍 Bulla Gastrobar 📍 6007 Legacy Dr #180, Plano, TX 75024 #FoodAndWine #SpanishCuisine #DallasFood #LegacyWest
