The small town of Niagara-on-the-Lake🏡 has many great little shops to
Historical Introduction📖: 🏰One of the best-preserved 19th-century towns in North America🇺🇸 It was originally a neutral Indigenous village, then established by Loyalists who fled from New York State, and later became the earliest capital📍 of the colonial period of Upper Canada.🇨🇦 Most places for shopping and dining are concentrated in three to four blocks of Queen Street, which is very convenient to walk 🐾🐾around. There are many nice small shops worth strolling slowly. Along the way from the falls, you can see beautiful houses, farms and wineries, and you can also rent a bicycle🚴 to enjoy the views.👀👀 1️⃣Greaves Jams & Marmalades☀️ A family-owned jam shop, now run by the fourth generation of jam makers. There are many varieties, and the ingredient list is very clean, with only fruit and sugar. 🍭🍭 You can buy multiple small bottles with a discount, which is very cute, but the large bottle is more cost-effective.🙉🙉 We bought 250ml of 🍋🍊pure lemon & orange marmalades and 🍑pure peach jam. The first one has peel particles, which is delicious when spread on bread or brewed in water for tea, not overly sweet at all!🍇🍇 2️⃣Niagara Apothecary💊 Founded around the 19th century, it operated as a pharmacy until 1964, and now serves as an exhibition. 🥦 You can see tall old-fashioned medicine cabinets, medicine bottles and jars that used to hold herbs🌿, old posters📰, some ancient medical devices, and even devices for making pills in the past—so amazing~👍 3️⃣Scottish Loft🇬🇧 A British gift shop with Paddington🐻 merchandise, team peripherals, 🧣British scarves, and other British snacks!🍡 4️⃣Turkish Bazar🇹🇷 A variety of very colorful lamps💡, and Aladdin lamps🧞🧞♀️🧞♂️! 5️⃣Fort Mississauga and Point Lighthouse🏠 An ancient fortress, walking around feels like being in a hill in The Legend of Zelda, with excellent scenic views. 🙉🙉 Across the Niagara River, the houses in the distance are in the United States🇺🇸. Looking left towards Lake Ontario, you can see the silhouette of Toronto and the CN Tower.🌳🌳 ☝️In addition to these, there are many more places to visit, such as the large 🎩hat shop BeauChapeau Hat Shop, the 🎨Indigenous art gallery Upper Canada Native Art, etc. 🥨🥨 Take your time and you'll always find surprises.🎈🎈 #NiagaraTown#Niagara
