🌟 The Ultimate Charlotte, NC Travel Guide 🌟
Spent my spring break exploring every corner of the Queen City! Here’s your go-to guide for a fun-filled 3–4 day trip to Charlotte. Let’s dive in! 🍽️ FOOD & DINING 1️⃣ Optimist Hall A trendy food hall a short train ride from downtown. 🥟 Dumpling Lady – Tasty noodle salads, solid flavors! 🍜 Variety of Asian and American options. 2️⃣ YUME Ramen Cozy vibe, delicious ramen and katsu don! ⚠️ Note: Includes 20% service fee + tip → ~$30-40 per person. 3️⃣ MOA Korean BBQ Good but pricey — a few meats cost over $100. 🐮 Not as good as Gyu-Kaku. Only go if you’re nearby. 4️⃣ Hawkers Asian Street Food Tried wontons, fried rice, and wings — standard American-Chinese fare. 🍚 Skip the fried rice. Not a must-visit. 5️⃣ Sichuan Palace Check my earlier post — a solid Sichuan spot! 6️⃣ Coco and the Director A cute café, but just average coffee. Not worth a special trip. 🏛️ ATTRACTIONS & ACTIVITIES 🎨 Mint Museum Uptown Modern art museum — $10 entry, FREE with BOA card! Worth a visit if you like contemporary works. 🔥 Bechtler Museum of Modern Art FREE entry + iconic sculpture outside. Combine this with the Mint Museum — they’re neighbors! 🏀 Spectrum Center Caught a Charlotte Hornets NBA game — tickets were ~$40-50 since they’re not a top team. Fun vibe! 🏈 Bank of America Stadium Home to Panthers (NFL) and Charlotte FC (soccer). Drove by — looks impressive from outside! 🎳 Victory Lane Indoor Karting Go-karts, bowling, arcade — fun way to spend an afternoon. 💰 Go-karts: $60 for 3 laps | Bowling: $35/hour 🏎️ NASCAR Hall of Fame $25 ticket — only 2.5 floors of exhibits. Took us ~25 mins. Not a must unless you’re a racing superfan. 🎢 Carowinds Thrilling roller coaster park — was closed during our visit, but highly recommended if you have time! 👋 Final Thoughts Charlotte is a fun, mid-sized city with plenty to do over a long weekend. Mix of art, sports, food, and adrenaline — something for everyone! #CharlotteTravel #VisitNC #QueenCityGuide #CharlotteEats #MuseumsOfCLT #NBAGames #TravelUSA #SpringBreakTrip #NorthCarolina #CityGuide
