The Ultimate Hamilton Island Experience 🌴✨

Chose Hamilton Island for a 6-day, 5-night getaway in early June—everything was perfect! Accommodation 🏠 Stay on Hamilton Island! I didn’t do much research initially, but after visiting Airlie Beach for skydiving, the difference was clear—Hamilton Island’s natural beauty is unmatched. If you stay here, you’ll get One Tree Hill’s stunning sunset views 🌅. We stayed at Reef View Hotel—a bit dated, but great service and breathtaking views! That big white building by the shore? Yep, that’s the hotel. Island Activities 🤿 🐨 Koala VIP Experience at Wildlife Café – $160 AUD for a private 30-minute session with a koala! Couldn’t hold it, but got to pet its super soft fur—and it smelled amazing! 😍 🚁✈️ Fly-Cruise Great Barrier Reef Snorkeling – Longer snorkel time, but the return boat ride was crazy bumpy (sit inside if you can!). The helicopter ride? Front row = epic views! 🚁 The reef was stunning, and later, we snorkeled at Catseye Beach (free masks with Reef View Hotel key!) and saw a sea turtle! 🐢 Stand-up paddleboarding is best early (8-9 AM). 🏖️ Whitehaven Beach Chill & Grill Day Trip – The most beautiful beach I’ve ever seen—literally left me speechless! 🤯 🪂 Skydive Australia – 15,000ft Jump! – Booked for 10 AM, got moved to 8 AM (had to catch the first ferry). Then… waited for clouds to clear from 8:30 AM to 11 AM—but SO worth it! Bought the GoPro package, and a fellow jumper got the $160 AUD third-angle video (a photographer jumps with you)—looked insane! 💸💰 If you’ve got the budget, go for it! 🦘 Wildlife Everywhere! – Spotted wallabies (small) and possibly kangaroos (bigger) chilling on the island’s lawns at night.
