The Ultimate Romantic Experience at a Vintage Trailer Hotel
Sunset / dusk / starry sky / galaxy / bonfire 🌅🌌🔥 I’ve always dreamed of having an RV—packing up everything and just wandering off into the world. I think everyone has a dream like that, right? This time, in Taos, New Mexico, I lived that dream and experienced the ultimate romance of staying in a vintage trailer hotel. We arrived at sunset, and the entire campground was washed in golden light. The pink-orange sky gently colored the clouds over the distant mountains. 🌄🧡 Our group of seven booked three trailers. I stayed with two friends in “Christopher”—a sleek silver trailer that gleamed in the sun and cast long, playful shadows of us all. Even though the temperature dropped to 3°C at night and the wind was wild, we still grilled outdoors! Each trailer comes with its own fire pit. We bought two bundles of wood ($5 each). In calm weather, one bundle lasts two hours—but with strong wind, it burned through in just one. Pro tip: bring your own groceries (we stocked up at Walmart in Santa Fe). We highly pre-marinated steak kits—just seal the meat in the bag, let it sit for an hour or two, and you’re ready to grill. So convenient and so tasty! 🥩🔥 Located in the wide-open Southwest countryside, the skies here are incredibly clear. The chance of seeing the Milky Way? Very high! Sitting around the bonfire under a sky full of stars, laughing with friends and feasting on grilled food—it really doesn’t get much better than this. ✨🤍 And in the morning—you can watch the sunrise right from your bed! The curtains in the trailer are removable, so the view is totally unobstructed. ☀️🛏️ 📌 Tips: The campground features dozens of uniquely styled trailers—you can pick your favorite! Prices are very reasonable. Each trailer has heating, so no worries about staying warm in winter. Don’t feel like grilling? There’s a bar nearby serving light meals. Great for group trips! We took lots of fun, silly photos together—highly recommend it. Even though it’s a popular spot, its remote location means it’s never crowded. Perfect for a peaceful getaway. The sense of open space and solitude is pure magic. 📍 Trailer Hotel: Hotel Luna Mystica 📌 Location: Taos, New Mexico (just 10 mins from downtown) #Taos #NewMexico #UniqueStays #Glamping #TravelDreams
