These are the four seasons in Brisbane 🎋
The color palette of spring, summer, autumn and winter in Brisbane (Where is winter? Does it respond when called?) It’s a city where seasons dance with subtlety, each bringing its own unique charm that unfolds like a gentle story. These are all photos posted before. If you want to see the specific content, you can click the collection at the end of the article 📖—there’s more to explore, from hidden corners to little anecdotes behind each shot. 📍School Road, Yeerongpilly, taken in August. It is the same species as the big tree with white flowers blooming in spring opposite the University of Queensland Art Museum. Imagine clusters of delicate white blossoms cascading down the branches, like snowflakes frozen in time, filling the air with a faint, sweet fragrance. They sway gently in the breeze, painting the street with a soft, ethereal glow that makes spring feel like a whispered secret. Jacarandas can be seen everywhere in summer, turning the city into a purple wonderland. 📍Delfin Street Park, Macgregor, where the trees line the paths, their lavender blooms carpeting the ground below like a magical carpet. 📍Jacaranda Avenue, where the canopy of flowers creates a tunnel of purple, dappled with sunlight that filters through the leaves. It’s a sight that makes summer feel vibrant and full of life, with every step crunching on fallen petals. 📍Roma St Parkland, the color of the photo is really "autumn 🍂". The park transforms into a tapestry of warm hues—burnt oranges, rich reds, and golden yellows—as the leaves turn. The air carries a crispness that’s just enough to make you reach for a light jacket, and the rustling of leaves underfoot is like nature’s own lullaby. It’s a quiet, cozy kind of beauty that makes autumn feel like a gentle hug. 📍Northstradbroke Island, North Island, visited in June and July, barely considered winter LOL. But even then, it’s a mild kind of “winter” with cool breezes and clear skies. North Island is known as the Maldives of Brisbane, with stunning scenery—turquoise waters that stretch to the horizon, powdery white sand that feels like silk under your feet, and lush greenery that frames the coast. You can also see whales 🐳 migrating through the waters, dolphins 🐬 leaping playfully, and sea turtles 🐢 gliding slowly beneath the surface. Take a boat from Cleveland to land on the island—it’s a short journey that feels like stepping into a paradise.
