This is a restaurant specializing in Northern Vietnamese/Hanoi-style cuisine! 🍜🇻🇳 The menu not only includes Southern Vietnamese favorites like pho and spring rolls, but also many authentic Northern dishes that are hard to find in other Vietnamese spots. I’ve always loved OC Lau, and after hearing this place was a great alternative, I had to try it. Actually, I visited during the summer—just organizing my phone photos now and finally sharing this! 😄 That day, we ordered the crispy pancake pho, bún đậu mắm tôm (a vermicelli platter with fried tofu, pork, ham, and fresh herbs served with shrimp paste), soft-shell crab, and some grilled seafood dishes that you’d also find at OC Lau. The soft-shell crab was the standout—so good we ordered a second portion right away! 🦀🔥 The other dishes were solid, but the real win was the great value. With this much food, a similar Chinese meal would’ve cost around $200! 💸 We noticed many Vietnamese customers dining there too—always a good sign! ✅ Overall, it’s not a disappointing experience. If you’re a hardcore OC Lau fan, you might still prefer that spot, but if you’re looking for great value, this place is definitely worth trying.
