This 27-Year-Old Super Affordable French Brunch in Toronto is a Must

(I got too excited and posted before even writing my thoughts… 😅) This is a French bakery & brunch spot in Toronto that absolutely deserves a pilgrimage 🥐🇫🇷 It effortlessly transports every soul straight to France! Located in Leslieville for 28 years, back when I lived nearby, I’d always pass by and witness it packed from 8 AM onwards. It’s arguably the most beloved and authentic French brunch spot in the neighborhood. 📍Bonjour Brioche 812 Queen St E, Toronto The cozy old-school interior is filled with the aroma of butter, while the outdoor sunroom is the perfect summer morning retreat. The menu focuses on classic French brunch: Quiche, Flan, Crepe (sweet/savory), Croque Madame… Everything is made to order, with the most expensive item under $16 — averaging just $13-$15. Seriously affordable, and seriously delicious! It’s rare to find good savory crepes in Toronto, but here they are: $15 with a side salad (the dressing is homemade and amazing — turns simple greens into something special!). Highly recommend their breakfast sandwich: Each baguette sandwich comes with a thick, fluffy egg omelette inside. The seasonal scone, bacon, and egg sandwich is also a must-try — buttery, decadent, and absolutely worth the calories! 💥 Many customers walk up to the takeout window for pastries, but if you’re dining in, ask about the daily croissant and tart selections — they’ll bring a whole tray for you to choose from 🥹 And don’t miss the Strawberry Shortcake before strawberry season ends! 🍓 (Weekends only) Fresh, sweet strawberries paired with light, chilled cream — so refreshing and delicious! #TorontoFood #Brunch
