This Bookstore Isn't Cold! | Lyon Book Lovers' "Ball of the Ardents"
📖 Almost everyone agrees that this is a beautiful bookstore. 🏛️ The name of the bookstore comes from a historical event called the "Ball of the Ardents": 🔥 The Ball of the Ardents took place on January 28, 1393, in Paris, France. King Charles VI and five French nobles performed a dance. A torch brought by Duke Louis I of Orléans caused a fire, resulting in the tragic deaths of four dancers. 📍 The bookstore is located on the ancient Rue Neuve in the 1st district of Lyon, one of the most beautiful bookstores in the entire city, though the prices are a bit on the higher side. 💰 💎 Lyon is a beautiful ancient city, and "Le Bal des Ardents" is a small but exquisite gem embedded within it.
