This is hands down the best breakfast spot I’ve tried in Savannah 🥞

This is hands down the best breakfast spot I’ve tried in Savannah 🥞 I struck gold recently! Today I checked out a new restaurant called Folklore, located on MLK Blvd, right across from Herstand Hall. For all my SCAD friends, it’s just a short walk away—seriously, couldn’t be more convenient! 🚶‍♀️ I randomly searched for nearby brunch spots, but as soon as I walked in, I was hooked! The decor is yet cozy, with wooden tables and chairs bathed in warm yellow lighting. Sunlight streams through the windows, making the air feel lazy and sweet ☀️. The staff was super enthusiastic, her eyes lighting up as she recommended dishes—you could tell she was totally confident in their food! 😊 But the real star is the food! Every dish is a delightful surprise, with layers of flavor that’ll wow you~ I ordered their signature Shakshuka (North African eggs). The tomato broth is rich and flavorful, with a gentle kick of spice. Nestled inside are two runny poached eggs—break them open, and the yolk mixes with the broth. Dip in the crispy-on-the-outside, soft-on-the-inside baguette, and it’s an explosion of tangy, eggy, and toasty goodness in your mouth. Pure happiness in one bite! 🥳 My friend got the Smoked Salmon Benedict, and it was amazing too! The salty-savory smoked salmon pairs perfectly with the silky poached egg. The English muffin underneath soaks up the creamy hollandaise sauce, and the fresh asparagus adds a crisp crunch—no greasy aftertaste at all, with new little bursts of flavor in every bite! 😋 The biggest surprise was their Homemade Granola. It looks like a simple cereal bowl, but there’s so much more to it! The yogurt is thick enough to stick to the spoon, topped with crunchy toasted oats, nuts, and fresh berries. A drizzle of honey ties it all together—sweet and tart, crunchy and creamy. It totally changed my view of granola—healthy and delicious! 🍯 I heard they source a lot of their ingredients directly from local farms, which explains why everything tastes so fresh—even the veggies have a sweet, juicy crunch! The portions are huge too—two people ordering three dishes won’t finish them. Such great value for money! 💰 Honestly, this is the most impressive brunch I’ve had in Savannah—no contest! The dishes are creative without sacrificing flavor, and the atmosphere is so cozy you’ll never want to leave. I’m giving it a solid 5-star recommendation 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟! If you see this, trust me and go—you won’t be disappointed, and you’ll definitely come back for more! #brunch#SavannahFood#SCAD
