This Italian Restaurant in Lyon
📍 Carmelo 💶 20-30 Euros 💖 It’s an extremely popular restaurant—booking in advance is recommended. 🌈🌈 🥐Surprisingly spacious, it has five large dining areas in total. Its flavor is my favorite among all the restaurants I’ve tried in Europe; if there’s one downside, it’s probably that it’s only in Lyon. I sat near the open kitchen, and watching the staff make pizza and pasta felt like watching a culinary performance.🍅 🌟 Champagne (by the glass) Cold, sweet, and with delicate bubbles—it’s right up my alley!🎉 🌟 Tomato Pasta I ordered it without cheese because I don’t like the warm, creamy texture. ✨✨ ❄️❄️The pasta was wide and flat, much like Xi’an’s “belt noodles,” and had a nice chewy bite. The tomato sauce wasn’t sour, and the overall taste was light. 🌟 Carpaccio (Raw Beef Slices) The seasoning for this beef was so good! I could easily finish a whole plate by myself. 🏖️🏖️ The cherry tomatoes were sweet and tangy, the arugula was fresh and fragrant, and the beef slices were super fresh—no gamey taste at all. The meat was tender, not the kind that requires lots of chewing. 🎄🎄 The portion was generous too; when the big plate was served, people around me were all looking over.🌙🌙 #FoodInTravel #LifeInEurope #FranceTravel #LyonTravel #LyonFood #ItalianRestaurant
