This shop has incredibly delicious canelés!

🧁A hidden gem of a little café with an Austrian owner who is both warm and witty, just like his delightful pastries! 🧁They offer a variety of canelés with crispy exteriors and soft, chewy interiors that are simply divine. It feels like a rare treat in Italy to find a café selling canelés, so if you’re a fan, this place is a must-visit! I went to the first branch, which has indoor and outdoor seating as well as an upstairs area. I chose to sit upstairs (I arrived around 11 a.m.). I thought there might be a queue, but surprisingly, there were still many seats available upstairs. It seems most Italians prefer to sit outside. We ordered two signature coffees: ❣️Passion fruit espresso tonic. I personally thought it was good, but my friend said it tasted strange. ❣️Coffeemisu which includes mascarpone, an ingredient from tiramisu. I expected the sweetness to balance the bitterness of the coffee, but it turned out to be quite sweet and rich. My friend, however, liked it, so we swapped and enjoyed each other's drinks. 🧁In addition to the canelés, the other desserts are equally impressive, both in looks and taste. Some are even adorned with gold leaf, making you feel like royalty after indulging. #Italy #ItalianLife #ItalianTravel #Florence #HiddenGemCafé #CaféDesserts #Canelés #PastryLove #TravelTips
