Three Days in Berlin with Kids: Special Ops Style
Three Days in Berlin with Kids: Special Ops Style Day 2: Holland Park! 🌳👶👧 Not sure if it was because it was a weekday or because rain was forecast for the afternoon, but there weren’t many people—actually, it was pretty quiet. The park has both outdoor and indoor areas, so we didn’t have to worry about the weather. ☔ The outdoor area is full of spielplatz (playgrounds) for both little kids and older ones. A nice surprise was the mini-golf area. I’ve been wanting to take my eldest to try it out, and since there weren’t many people, we could hop around to different spots and play freely. When it started pouring in the afternoon, we moved to the indoor activity area, which also had zones for all ages, plus a climbing area. It was such a fun-packed day that we didn’t even have time to check out the flower and plant shop—we went wild playing the whole time! 🌼🌧️ The price of the day pass was totally worth it. The food was just okay though—lunch was charged by weight at €2.7 per 100g. The options were limited: schnitzel, bean soup, currywurst, fries, and the like. 🍽️ #BestOfBerlin #Berlin #LifeInGermany #FamilyFun
