TN Nashville | 3-Day Nashville Trip

First time exploring the American South in January—visited four states: TN, AL, MS, GA. Starting with Nashville! 🚗 Rental Car: Alamo (smooth process!) 🏨 Hotel: Highly recommend Nashville Hyatt House Downtown Convention Center—great vibe + affordable parking. Just a 10-min walk to Broadway! (Avoided another hotel later… thanks to sketchy smells 😅) Day 1: Flew from EWR to BNA Lunch: Martin’s BBQ (5-min walk from Hyatt). Okay overall, but meat was a bit dry 🍖. Afternoon: Country Music Hall of Fame 🎸—so worth it! Saw Taylor Swift’s Eras Tour photo wall 💫. Dinner: Peg Leg Porker (BBQ heaven!)—their meat, mac & cheese, and banana pudding are LEGENDARY! 🍌🍮 Pro tip: Both Martin’s and Peg Leg sell cute merch—great souvenirs! 👕 Day 2: Biscuit Love 🧇 Headed to Alabama in the afternoon, so only had brunch in Nashville. Biscuit Love: Southern biscuit essential! Try the East Nasty (savory) + Princess (spicy chicken), and Bonuts (fried donut + blueberry) 🍯—yummy but not mind-blowing. Day 3: Parthenon + Mural Hunting 🏛️ Finally tried Hattie B’s Hot Chicken 🍗—Nashville’s iconic spicy fried chicken! Got the 3-tenders (recommend Hot level for spice lovers!). PS: There’s a Hattie B’s at BNA airport too! Sadly, the Parthenon was closed due to snow ❄️—but Centennial Park looked magical in white! Murals in The Gulch are Instagram gold 📸—best visited in good weather! #Nashville #NashvilleFood #NashvilleTravel #Tennessee #USASouth #Foodie #TravelDiary #MusicCity 🎶✨
