Togetsu BridgeπΏ
View the Togetsu Bridge, Enjoy the Katsura River Scenery, and Savor Buckwheat Noodles π Yoshimura in Arashiyama πΏ π Full Experience: For the breathtaking view of the Katsura River and Togetsu Bridge, you can come here for a bowl of buckwheat noodles, but honestly, it's worth it just this once. π’π The buckwheat noodles and the tofu in the courtyard are from the same place. πΈπ If I remember correctly, the tofu shop can be reserved, but the buckwheat noodles can't be booked anymore. You have to sit at the entrance and wait in line before they open for lunch. π’π We had been walking around Arashiyama in the morning, visited the Miyagami Shrine, and were just tired from walking. So, we sat in their courtyard to rest, and when it was time, we walked in and got the best view seat. πΈπ If you don't get a view seat, then it's really not worth eating here. The buckwheat noodles aren't anything extraordinary, and the tempura is just at the level of a station bento. The average cost is over 100, and it's all for the view. Don't have any illusions about the food. πΈπ Also, they still don't accept mobile payments, and their card machine isn't very reliable (my VISA card was swiped six times). Cash is the most convenient way to pay. πΈπ #BuckwheatNoodles #JapanTravel #KyotoTravel #Arashiyama ππ
