Tokyo is indeed Tokyo, even Ueno is...
So captivating that I didn't want to leave๐ On the last day, from Toyama to Narita Airport, with a few hours to spare in Ueno (directly accessible from Ueno to the airport via Skyline). The station has two full rows of luggage storage! It's incredibly thoughtful. Ueno is also packed with several commercial streets, numerous drugstores, perfect for a big shopping spree before heading to the airport. As usual, I had Sukiyaki for lunch, marking the end of each trip to Japan. I casually chose a place, and the taste was hard to go wrong. A set meal for two plus a local beef dish cost just over 5000 yen! ๐ Hachinoki: ใ110-0005 Tokyo, Taito, Ueno, 4-chomeโ7โ3 It's worth visiting Tsutsumi - there are two stores nearby, a Japanese jewelry brand featuring pearls and gold jewelry. The styles are a bit old-fashioned, but if you're looking for basic single pearl items, this place is good too. ๐ Jewelry Tsutsumi Ueno ๐ Jueritsutsumi Okachimachiten Parco mall is quite popular too - the first floor has Kinko Glasses and Onitsuka Tiger stores. The second floor has a fashionable jewelry store that looks great! Called JoueTe. If you have time, you can take your time to choose, with rings all under 10,000 yen. HARBS dessert shop is also very famous, but I gave up due to the long queue! ๐ PARCO_ya Ueno: ใ110-0005 Tokyo, Taito, Ueno, 3-chomeโ24โ6 #TravelMemories #ShoppingSpree #Foodie #DayTrip #OutboundTour #Tokyo #Ueno #UenoFood #SunnyTraveler #JapanTravel
