Torino🇮🇹|How to Make the Most of Your One-Day Trip to Turin?
Conclusion first: You absolutely must visit the Palazzo Reale (Royal Palace of Turin)! Other places are nice too, but the Royal Palace completely blew me away. 😍 ⭐️ In the morning, I went to the Medieval Village, bought some famous local chocolate, and had a cup of hot chocolate made by an adorable Italian grandpa. 🍫 He even gave me a little taste first, like they do with wine, and only continued pouring after I said okay. There are tons of little squirrels here 🐿️, and they’re not afraid of people. You can bring some snacks to feed them. ⭐️ Then I visited the Egyptian Museum. To be honest, it was too crowded, and the exhibition halls were quite small. We took our time but finished in about an hour. Not recommended if you’re short on time. ⭐️ In the afternoon, I went to the Royal Palace of Turin. It was absolutely stunning—every scene felt like it was straight out of a fairy tale. 🏰 The collection is massive, and even just skimming through took me over two hours. ⭐️ Right next to the Royal Palace, there’s a main street bustling with activity. 🌆 You can find Chinese street food like roujiamo (Chinese burgers), liangpi (cold skin noodles), and baozi (steamed buns). The stalls are very clean, and the food tastes great—highly recommended! ⭐️ There’s also a Christmas market nearby with vintage products and beautiful handmade jewelry from local artisans, priced around €20-40. 🎄✨ ⭐️ In the evening, the night view is gorgeous. We found a café, ordered a cappuccino ☕, and slowly soaked in the Italian "dolce vita"... And that’s a perfect day! 😊 PS: I also visited the Palazzo Madama the next day, but it’s quite similar to the Royal Palace. If you’ve already been to the Royal Palace, you can skip this one... The Mole Antonelliana had ridiculously long lines, and since I didn’t book tickets in advance, they were sold out for the day. So I just admired it from the outside and left. #Turin #Italy #Torino #OffTheBeatenPath #RoyalPalaceOfTurin #TravelItaly ✨
