Toronto’s Hottest Fresh-Cut Ham Sandwich Spot 🥪🔥
📍Ariete E Toro 12 Keewatin Ave, Toronto If I hadn’t seen the crazy lines at this place with my own eyes again and again, I wouldn’t have believed it’s the ultimate queue king! 👑 Every time I took out the trash from De Mello’s back door, I couldn’t help but notice the crowd gathered in front of this mysterious, signless black shop next door. And finally… today I joined the queue too! This no-sign spot turns out to be the city’s newest Italian deli sandwich shop 🥪 They freshly slice different hams for each sandwich right in front of you—everything is made to order with super fresh ingredients. I’m a Mortadella lover, so for my first time, I had to try the Enzo It’s huge—one sandwich can keep you full for most of the day 😋 The pistachio basil spread is so refreshing and aromatic 💚 The ham is light and delicate, and the focaccia is airy, chewy, slightly crispy, and a touch sweet. The sandwich is packed with meat but doesn’t feel heavy—I couldn’t stop eating it! All their other ham and cheese sandwiches look amazing too—other varieties have even stronger flavors 🥹 The only downside? It’s not exactly cheap… still getting used to the era of $20 sandwiches 💸 #MiddleSchoolGirlEats #TorontoFood #SandwichLovers 🥪❤️
