Toronto | DT’s Hidden Gem Italian Restaurant, Giulietta
This is a place I would take my friends and family when they visit Toronto! To be honest, I can’t really make much sense of their menu, so I usually order based on reviews and pictures. Apart from the pasta, everything else is incredibly delicious, especially their tiramisu! The staff recommended it as a must-try dessert 🍨 If there’s a smaller crowd, make sure to sit at the bar! You can watch the chefs prepare different dishes and bake pizzas, which really enhances the experience ⬆️ 🐚 CRUDO di CAPESANTE - Raw scallops with green apple and cucumber pickle, a must-try for sashimi lovers 🍅 BELGIOIOSO BURRATA - A variety of small tomatoes with Burrata cheese, a great appetizer to stimulate the appetite 🍝 I forgot the name of the pasta… It was the only dish I blindly ordered that was just okay, no complaints but nothing special 🍕 LA CAMPAGNOLA - Mushroom pizza, baked in a wood-fired oven. Sitting at the bar, you can watch the chef bake it all the way. The crust is thin and crispy 🐙 POLPO e FAGIOLI - Grilled octopus with pesto sauce, great value for money! I came for this dish, and it didn’t disappoint 🥹 The meat is very tender and not at all mushy! Unlike the octopus from Costco that I always end up with… 🍨 The tiramisu is the highlight of the meal, with a strong taste of alcohol, and it’s the most to my taste out of all the ones I’ve had in Toronto In the end, the average cost per person is about 150🔪. We had a lot of pizza left over, which we took home. Next time, I might try a different main course! #HiddenGemRestaurant #ItalianCuisine #Toronto #TorontoFood #TorontoEatsAndDrinks #TorontoLife #Canada #DateNightRestaurant #TorontoWeekendSpots #AtmosphericRestaurant
