Toronto | Toronto Zoo Guide

Yesterday, with the overcast sky and cool weather, I took the kids to the Toronto Zoo. 🌥️👨‍👩‍👧‍👦 Using Canoo, the tickets were free (just remember to bring your PR card as it will be checked at the entrance). The zoo has a total of 8 zones (map attached on the last page). Since we used Canoo, we decided to casually explore 2 zones and didn’t plan to visit the whole zoo, so we skipped the Zoomobile. Be sure to grab a map when you enter. We turned left, passed through Indo-Malaya, and headed straight to the Africa zone. This area has many large animals, including zebras, lions, giraffes, and ostriches… but no elephants 🐘❗️ no elephants❗️ We initially planned to visit just two zones, but as we walked, we ended up exploring the entire zoo. We arrived around noon and left around 5:30 PM. Aside from a quick meal, we spent most of the time walking… it was quite a leg workout. My legs were shaking going down the stairs at home… The Americas, Tundra Trek, Australasia, and Eurasia Wilds areas are close to each other, so you’ll easily move from one to the next. Besides Africa, I recommend Tundra Trek, where you can see polar bears. 🐻‍❄️ Eurasia is also worth visiting, though we didn’t go to the Canadian Domain. Compared to domestic zoos, this one has fewer animals. Also, many were sleeping, possibly due to the weather, and some areas were under construction. If you’re planning just one visit, I still recommend taking the Zoomobile, which costs $9 per person. For food, you can bring your own as bags are not checked at the entrance. There’s also a Tim Hortons right at the entrance, along with many other food and drink options. 🍔☕ Parking 🅿️ costs $15🔪, and you can pay via QR code when leaving. Overall, if you use Canoo, it’s worth a visit. However, if you’re paying, it might not be the best value for money. #AnimalsInTheZoo #AmazingAnimals #WeekendFun #TorontoZoo #TorontoZooAdventures #GreatPlacesToTakeKidsInToronto #HolidayFun
