Starting from Montreal, Canada 🇨🇦, we embarked on a scenic road trip through Maine’s charming coastal towns: Nubble Lighthouse → Ogunquit → Cape Neddick → Portland 📍 Nubble Lighthouse Maine’s most iconic lighthouse! 🏔️⚓ Loved its isolated, almost apocalyptic vibe — perfect for moody photos. 📍 Ogunquit, ME ✅ Marginal Walkway – Breathtaking coastal views! Even in the drizzle, the serenity was palpable. ☔🌊 ✅ Pekins Cove Candy – Great for families! Handmade chocolates and toffees. 🍫 ✅ Pekins Cove Pottery Shop – Artistic mugs and tableware with a rustic, earthy feel — surprisingly lightweight! 🎨 ✅ Kikis – Cool hoodie designs in stylish fall colors (hello, maroon & tan! 🧥🍂). ✅ Uniques & Antiques – Fun Christmas decor and vintage treasures! 🎄🔍 ✅ Bridgefoot Lobster – THE BEST lobster roll ever! 🦞🔥 No seating, but worth it: 5oz of fresh lobster meat with a light butter-mayo blend. Also loved the local blueberry soda! 🫐 (PS: Tried Maine Bite later — meh.) ✅ The Knotty Sailor – Best souvenir spot! Near the entrance, cheaper than in-park shops. Great magnet selection! ❤️ 🅿️ Parking Tips: Closest spots: $15/3 hours (rarely available). Barnacle Billy’s: $25 (cash only). Municipal lot: $20 (a bit farther). 📍 Cape Neddick A quick stop on the way to Portland! 🏖️ This cute town has beaches, parks, and quirky little shops — worth a slow drive-through. 🏨 Best Western Merry Manor Inn An older 3-star hotel, but great value! ✅ Free breakfast + prime location near attractions and downtown. 🛒 Trader Joe’s & Whole Foods Why?
