Booking Information ππΏ Currently, reservations are required through the official website. After booking, you'll receive a confirmation email. π¨ There are many tour sessions each day, but English tours are limited, so it's best to confirm your time early if you need an English guide. ππΏ On the day of the visit, tickets are purchased on-site, and the admission fee is currently 1,000 yen per person. π Upon arrival, first show your reservation confirmation before buying your ticket. π« Location and Surroundings ππΏ The Katsura Imperial Villa is not in the center of Kyoto and is a bit far from bus stops and subway stations. On the way from the station to the villa, you'll pass through a quaint area of village houses and vegetable fields. It feels like a hidden gem! πΏ Once you arrive at the villa, the beauty begins, and the contrast is striking. π Tour Experience π Visitors with the same entry time form a tour group and start the visit together on time. When we went, there were five people in our group, and the entire tour took a little over an hour. ππΏ The waiting hall also serves as an exhibition space, featuring displays and introductions to the villa. It's a good idea to arrive a bit early. π°οΈ πThe tour is led by a guide who is extremely gentle, friendly, and patient. You can ask as many questions as you like. π If she can't answer something on the spot, she will make sure to find out and get back to you laterβshe's incredibly responsible! π #HiddenTravelSpot #ArchitecturalDesign #InteriorDesign π
