Travel Memories: Verona
✨ Attractions 🌟 Arena di Verona. Known as the "Little Colosseum," but even more charming! Its pink limestone walls glow like a giant strawberry cake in the sunlight, even with one section missing. 💐 Juliet’s House (Casa di Giulietta) A pilgrimage site for lovers worldwide! The bronze statue of Juliet has her right breast polished to a shine (said to bring luck in love). The balcony on the second floor is the very one that inspired the iconic scene in Romeo and Juliet. ☀️ Verona Cathedral (Duomo di Verona) A "Baroque gem" hidden in the old town center! Its rose window looks like stained glass candy kissed by sunlight. 🔥 Basilica of Sant'Anastasia A textbook example of Gothic architecture! Its 15th-century pointed arches and columns resemble a stone forest. ⛱️ San Fermo Maggiore Can you believe it? The lower part of this church is 11th-century Romanesque, while the upper part "grafts" Gothic spires—like a wearing a suit with sneakers! The underground arches are breathtakingly beautiful, and it’s rarely crowded. #Verona #Italy #RomeoAndJuliet
