Tried Two Chinese Restaurants in Alhambra, LA 🍜
Both are highly recommended! 📍 Dong Ting Xian – $50 per person Ordered: Pickled String Beans with Chicken Gizzard, Tea Oil Stir-fried Free-Range Chicken, and Pork Intestine with Stinky Tofu. Most recommended is the Tea Oil Chicken – chopped small, super flavorful, and generous in portion though tricky to pick up 😅 Service was excellent – staff were energetic and friendly, which really added to the experience! ✨ 📍 KP Town – $25 per person Ate here twice! The nostalgic, old-school vibe made this Zhongshan-born Cantonese miss home 🥺 It blends a dai pai dong, snack shop, and cha chaan teng – so cozy and authentic. Perfect for light bites even when you’re not super hungry! First visit: Milk tea, lemon tea, pork liver congee, shredded chicken, grilled wings. Second visit: Milk tea, yellow-feather chicken congee, sizzling claypot chicken, rice noodles with spare ribs and phoenix claws. Highlights: Claypot chicken was delicious, pork liver in congee was incredibly tender, and the shredded chicken was perfectly seasoned 😍 Two different styles – one Hunan, one Cantonese – both worth visiting! #LA #ChineseFood #Alhambra #Cantonese #Hunan #Foodie #LAEats #ChineseCuisine
