๐Ÿฐ Turin, Italy | Exploring Forte di Fenestrelle ๐Ÿฐ

Today's share is about Forte di Fenestrelle, located to the left of Turin, known as the "Great Wall of the Alps." It features a long tunnel with thousands of steps and open-air staircases, perfect for hiking ๐Ÿฅพ๐Ÿฅพ ๐ŸŒŸ๐Ÿ™Œ๐Ÿป Tips about tickets and reservations: Reservations: Just search for the Italian name of the fortress, and the website will come up. Follow the website's instructions to call and make a reservation (but we called and no one answered, so we emailed, which also worked, though the response was a bit slow ๐Ÿค”). Prices vary depending on the hiking time you book, with three time slots: 1 hour, 3 hours, and 7 hours. The prices are ๐Ÿ’ถ10, ๐Ÿ’ถ15, and ๐Ÿ’ถ20 respectively (free with a Piedmont Region museum card!!!!). After making a reservation, just show up on time, and they will assign you a guide. You can choose an English-speaking guide, but since the guide leads a large group, there might be more time spent on Italian explanations. The guide we met was super nice and even brought equipment to take videos and sent them to our email. Such an angel!!!!!! Book according to your physical condition. It seems that not many people book the 7-hour hike in winter ๐Ÿฅบ๐Ÿฅบ We also booked the 3-hour one. Regarding transportation ๐ŸšŒ๐Ÿš—๐ŸšŽ It's recommended to drive, but you can also take a bus. You can consult related websites for information. On the bus, you can buy tickets after boarding. #Turin #ItalyTurin #DayTrip #Hiking
