Turn your culinary perception upside down! 🤩🍽️
At Maximilians restaurant in Berlin, I had an unforgettable gastronomic experience. What particularly impressed me was their "Schweinshaxe". This dish has a crispy skin and tender meat, with every bite bursting with rich traditional flavors! The preparation process of this classic German dish is very meticulous. The chef marinates the pork knuckle with seasonings and herbs, then simmers it in a low-temperature stew pot for several hours to make the meat incredibly tender. Finally, to achieve a golden and crispy skin, the pork knuckle is baked at high temperature. When served, the skin is crispy, while the inside remains extremely tender! It's worth mentioning that the portion of pork knuckle is very large, enough for 3 to 4 people to share, making it perfect for enjoying with friends or family! For dessert, "Ausgezogener Apfelstrudel" is another favorite of mine. Its crust is crispy, filled with spiced apples and raisins, and the warm strudel paired with vanilla ice cream or whipped cream is a sweet and unforgettable delight. The restaurant offers both indoor and outdoor seating options. 🕰️ Open Every Day 11:30AM-11:30PM #FoodDiary #RestaurantHopping #FoodExploration #RestaurantRecommendation #CulinaryDelight #FoodRecommendation #FoodDaily #HiddenGemRestaurant #WeekendGetaway #Germany #GermanCuisine #BerlinGermany #WhatToEatInGermany
