Two-Day Citywalk Guide to Dallas

🏙️My route: Day 1 – Arrived at hotel in the afternoon, enjoyed dinner and an evening stroll downtown (casually walked to the AT&T headquarters along the way). Day 2 – Checked out around 11 AM, grabbed breakfast, then walked to: Thanksgiving Square Giant Eyeball Dallas Museum of Art AT&T Headquarters I found Dallas quite walkable for those without a car — most downtown highlights are close together. Just pin your stops on a map and explore on foot! 👣 An evening walk is also highly recommended — the city’s night vibe feels totally different and very metropolitan. 📍 Must-Visit Spots 1️⃣ AT&T Headquarters Feels like a small plaza (there was a Christmas tree when I visited 🎄). Massive screens inside and outside — great for photos! Lots of pigeons, beautiful surrounding buildings, seating areas, and a nearby food hall with decent prices. 2️⃣ Thanksgiving Square A peaceful square with clocks, murals, and art installations. The white spiral-roof chapel inside is stunning ⛪️ — super photogenic! You can write notes of gratitude and hang them up. 3️⃣ Giant Eyeball A large art installation — not much to do, but impressive for photos 👁️. Sadly, it’s fenced off now. 4️⃣ Dallas Museum of Art Smaller compared to Denver’s, but still worth visiting. Includes well-known original works. The Asian art section is limited, but hey — it’s free! 😭 Note: Staff in the American & European sections can be overly watchful and sometimes unwelcoming. 🎨 Current Special Exhibit (ticketed): Frida Kahlo exhibition — on now. Yayoi Kusama coming in 2025 — loved it! Art lovers should definitely check these out. ✨ Final Tip: Wear comfy shoes, bring a water bottle, and let your feet lead the way. Dallas’s downtown is compact, walkable, and full of pleasant surprises! #US #Texas #Dallas
