Two-Day Itinerary for a Visit to the Twin Cities of Minnesota(1)
After a long winter, Minnesota has finally welcomed spring. I flew here for work and took the opportunity to explore on the weekend, catching the best season just in time. ๐ธ Day 1 - ๐๐ธ Morning: Minnehaha Falls. In winter, you can see icicles here. There are some mansions worth visiting. They are usually not open to the public. The one that left the deepest impression on me is Van Dunsen. ๐๐ธ The castle is covered with vines and looks very majestic (architecture students can learn about its style). There are also several other mansions within walking distance. ๐๐ธLunch: Global Market. One-third of the stores are closed. Most of them are small stalls, which are quite down-to-earth, but the atmosphere is still nice. In the central square, there are people singing and dancing. Afternoon: The most famous landmark - I call it "peeing cherry" (my personal nickname). There are all kinds of sculptures around it. ๐๐ธ There is also the Walker Art Center. I didn't go in because it requires a ticket. Nearby, there is a beautiful cathedral and an overpass. #Minneapolis ๐
