Two Days in Eugene, Oregon 🌲
A small town nestled in the woods—so serene and healing. The Airbnb I booked is surrounded by a pine forest. Open the window, and the breeze carrying the scent of pine greets you instantly 🍃. This town sits along the Willamette River, upstream from Portland. There aren’t many "tourist attractions" in the city itself, but strolling along the riverside paths feels incredibly relaxing. Everywhere you look, there are towering trees reaching for the sky 🌳. Sunset comes really late here—around 9 PM. The vibe of everyone gathering by the river, waiting for the sun to dip below the horizon, is pure magic 🌅. The University of Oregon is located in this town. Its logo is a bold "O," and its mascot is a duck simply called the "Duck" 🦆. The school colors are yellow and green, and the duck mascot wears a green "O"—it’s honestly too cute and playful for words! The Jordan Schnitzer Museum of Art at the University of Oregon is a total gem. Finding such a fantastic collection of antiquities in a small town like this feels like a wonderful surprise 🎨. The museum building itself looks like a charming old castle, adding to its charm. Right next to the University of Oregon campus is Eugene Pioneer Cemetery. The forest there is absolutely beautiful—worth a visit if you love quiet, tree-lined spots 🪦. I also recommend The Texas Roadhouse here. Their steak is good, but the complimentary bread before the meal? Chef’s kiss—it’s absolutely delicious 🥩🍞. #Eugene #AutumnVibes #ChasingAutumnSunshine #WillametteRiver #FallColors #EugeneWeather
