Very high level of skill and quality in their work, coupled with lots of kindness, care, and willingness to think outisde-the-box to figure out a solution to my atypical situation. I have an extremely sentimental and important ring that I wanted to be able to wear everyday. The issue was that the size was such that it could only fit my small finger...but loosely. I knew it was only a matter of time before it slipped off while wearing it; it would have been absolutely devastating to loose. The material is tungsten carbide which can't be cut and resized. I called a few jewlers in town to ask for solutions and was told there wouldn't be anything they could do due to the material, and suggested I wear the ring as a charm on a necklace. Only Wilamette Artisans was willing and able to work with me to figure out a creative, durable, long-term solution that would allow me to wear this ring without fear of it slipping off my finger. When I initially called, I spoke with Matt, who immediately understood the importance of the ring to me and of my desire to wear it daily. He mentioned that another client recently brought in a ring with a similar problem and they were able to figure out a creative solution to address the issue. I brought the ring in and met with Matt, who was again so kind, understanding, sensitive to the situation, and eager to find a solution for me. Matt worked with me until we came up with a solution I was truly comfortable with. The jewler ended up creating a smaller sterling silver ring that they attached within the original ring, thereby resizing it to fit perfectly snug on my small finger. The ring had a custom and very special engraving that I wanted to still be able to see. Given the sterling silver insert was going to cover it up, Matt searched online for the exact font that was originally used and the jewler engraved it, by hand, onto the sterling insert so I could see it perfectly. The job was done within the time-frame they estimated and it came out so well! All of the compassionate, skilled, and above-and-beyond efforts made by the folks at Willamette Artisans gave me the opportunity to wear this extremely important ring with confidence that it will fit perfectly. The peace of mind that gave me has been incredible. I'm truly grateful!

My husband and I got our silver wedding rings here. We appreciated the knowledgeable, attentive staff, who helped us select customisations and stones for our rings. We particularly appreciated that no one tried to talk us out of our choice of silver, or sell us more expensive rings. The rings are beautiful, and were in time for our ceremony, despite fairly short notice. However, my ring needed to be resized afterwards, which they did for free and quickly. Unfortunately, a week after the wedding, we both needed our rings resized, probably due to temperature differences. When we went in, we found out their supplier had made a mistake with the original sizes. Again, the jewellers were able to do the resizing fairly quickly, despite it being mid-February. There was a standard charge for this, but we expected it. We were content to pay for the adjustment, and support this small, local jewellery shop. We chose Willamette Artisans Jewelers specifically because they are a small, Eugene business (the shop is tiny). We appreciated the friendly, respectful, experienced staff, and are very pleased with our rings. We can certainly see why they have such high reviews!

I rarely write reviews but I have had such a wonderful experience here so far that I couldn't help but to share. I recently was looking for a Jeweler that would repair and appraise a ring that my husband had designed for me. It was a unique brown/red diamond in a pear shape, rose cut, so I wanted to take it somewhere where they were just as excited and valued unique stones as I did. I really didn't know where to take it so I called around to a few other jeweler's to get price quotes and just feel out the customer service. With that said, none of the other jeweler's were as kind, helpful, or as passionate as the help I received just over the phone at Willamette Artisans. They gave me more information than I even knew to ask for. They were personable, and patient. I didn't feel like I was being rushed off the phone with the bare minimum information. Not to mention they were one of the cheapest quotes in town, with the quickest turn over time. Your jewelry never leaves the store. Which is very reassuring because some other places I called, that was not the case depending on what was being done. So I took it in to WAJD the same day. When I walked it I was greeted with friendly smiles and attended to with courteous detail. The woman I was on the phone with remembered me and even came over to fill in the other gemologist with the details from the phone conversation, and wanted to look at my ring and see it for herself. It was such a great feeling to have everyone just as excited about my unique stone as I am. Even calling to follow up with my ring they were kind, quick, and efficient and will have my ring back to me in less than 2 weeks from the time I dropped it off...and this is during a busy time for them. All the same I am so far beyond pleased with their service and didn't know that it was possible to feel this comfortable leaving my jewelry with someone. I will absolutely be bringing back any of my jewelry...
