Two Go-To Lobster Roll Spots in Boston
First: Alive & Kicking Lobsters (Riverside) Their lobster roll uses hand-torn chunks of lobster meat, highlighting the natural sweetness and fresh flavor of the lobster itself 🌊. The lobster bisque is also a delightful surprise—rich and aromatic, even if it's a bit on the oily side, and packed with plenty of shredded lobster meat. Dipping bread into it is absolutely heavenly! Their steamed lobster never disappoints either, served with melted butter that’s much more flavorful than the store-bought kind 🧈. Second: Luke's Lobster (Chain) What sets this place apart is the bread—buttered and toasted until golden and crispy on the outside, with an irresistible aroma 🍞. The lobster meat comes in larger chunks, mixed with a special sauce and seasoned with spices, creating richer layers of flavor ✨. Both styles are completely different, yet it’s honestly hard to pick a favorite! Every time I have Luke’s, I think it’s better… but the next time I visit Alive & Kicking, I’m instantly swayed back. Forever torn between the two 😂🦞! #BostonLobster #Lobster #LobsterRoll #BostonFood
