The garden was bursting with fall colors, serene pathways, and beautifully curated landscapes. I spent hours just wandering around, breathing in the crisp air, and taking tons of photos. It’s the perfect spot if you're looking to slow down and soak in nature’s beauty — you can easily spend a whole day here! 🤠 Historic Stockyards National District In the afternoon, I headed over to the iconic Stockyards — a place that truly embodies the Texan spirit! You’ll find plenty of shops selling handmade cowboy hats and boots (the leatherwork is stunning 👢), but fair warning — they come with a pretty steep price tag 💸. I also grabbed some authentic Texas BBQ — tender, smoky, and downright delicious 😋. Unfortunately, the famous Longhorn Cattle Drive was canceled due to a virus concern 🐂, but I still got to see these majestic creatures up close in the nearby barns. 📸 Final Thoughts From peaceful garden vibes to Wild West charm — Fort Worth offers such a fun and refreshing day trip option, especially when you need a break from research and city life.
