UC Berkeley 🏫 | A Classic Half-Day Tour Route for Visitors
Spent a relaxing half-day over the weekend exploring the UC Berkeley campus with a friend who studies there! Here’s how it went: 🍽️ Berkeley Social Club 📍 2050 University Ave, Berkeley, CA 94704 We started with brunch here—highly recommend the Spicy Ramen and Eggs Benedict 😋. The ramen even comes with an actual Shin Ramyun package on the side for authenticity! 🏫 UCB Campus Tour We wandered around the campus, visiting well-known academic buildings, libraries, the Campanile (Sather Tower), and the Bookstore. Built on a hillside, the campus blends beautifully with nature—so many trees and lawns everywhere 🌳🌿. The air feels fresh and energizing—perfect for studying! My favorite moment? A squirrel near the library came up, sniffed my (empty) hand, and even gave me a tiny “handshake” 🐿️🤝. Absolutely made my day—my happiest memory at UCB! ⛰️ Big C Viewpoint Behind the campus is a small hill with a trail leading up to a gorgeous overlook. You can see the whole campus and even glimpse San Francisco in the distance 🌁. The exact photo spot is pinned on Google Maps as “Big C”. If driving, park at 🅿️ Foothill Lot—non-drivers can also walk to this lot to begin the climb. There’s even a swing at the top—so refreshing to sway in the breeze! #UCB #UCBerkeley #StudyAtUCB #Berkeley #BerkeleyLife #VisitBerkeley #SFBayArea #Oakland
