Ultimate Happy Nashville Solo Trip Guide! ♫⋆。♪ ₊˚♬
Located in the heart of the US, Nashville is the birthplace of country music and super solo-trip-friendly! Recommended: 2 days & 1 night. Add an extra day if you want to visit Mammoth Cave (but you’ll need a car!). I stayed near Broadway — hotels are great, and rideshares are crazy cheap (cheaper than one NYC ride for two whole days! 😱). Day 1 ❶ The Gulch Shops here close relatively early, so come in the afternoon! Lots of great restaurants — don’t miss the 4.9-star Spanish spot The Iberian Pig 🐖. So delicious! More food recs in my next post! ❷ Broadway Bring ID and a little cash! Bands often appreciate tips after sets, and you can’t take drinks from one bar to another 🍻. At night, Broadway is vibrant and lively — some say it feels like New Orleans (but cleaner and less chaotic 😆). I loved Layla’s — the cellist in the band was amazing! Day 2 ❶ Midtown Great for a stroll! Check out Vanderbilt University and the cute little Parthenon replica 🏛️. Nashville’s urban planning is lovely — clear and sometimes whimsical signage! (PS: The Hattie B’s in Midtown has shorter lines! 🍗) ❷ 12 South Good for shopping and mural spotting 🎨, but I personally preferred… ❸ 5 Points (East Nashville) A hidden gem! More local and artsy than downtown. Start at Hip Zipper Vintage, then walk to Five Points Alley Shops (boutiques & galleries), explore Fatherland District (vintage, gift shops, food stores, camera shops 📸), and end with delicious BBQ at Edley’s! ⚠️ Avoid visiting on Mondays — some spots are closed. Hot but happy 😊 Solo travel really amplifies your ability to feel joy! #StudyAbroadLife #SoloTravel #NYCGetaway #WeekendTrip #USATravel #Nashville #TravelDiary #PhilosophyOfLife #SoloFemaleTravel 🌟🎶✈️
