Upstate New York | Albany Day Trip
A technical one-day tour—follow the map for a hassle-free and efficient experience: ✨New York State Capitol A majestic example of Renaissance Revival architecture. It’s open for visits on weekdays, but I arrived too late—they were already closed! 😅 P.S. The "I ❤️ NY" sign is no longer there! ✨The Egg This is a theater named for its unique egg-like design. Next to it, there’s a massive, somewhat eerie hole that gives off a chilly and slightly intimidating vibe. ✨Empire State Plaza On the map, it appears as a central axis flanked by The Egg and state office buildings, with the museum in front and the Capitol at the rear. 🩷Erastus Corning Tower (State Office Building) You can head to the top during working hours for a panoramic view of Albany, but it closes as early as 4 PM. 🩷Albany City Hall The nearby park is a relaxing spot with plenty of squirrels that aren’t afraid of people. 🐿️ Food: Early autumn always makes me crave Thai food—something sweet, spicy, and warm. Found a place called Emmanuel on Google, located on a small street near the attractions. #Albany #NYStateCapitol #TheEgg #EmpireStatePlaza #AlbanyCityHall #DayTrip #UpstateNY #TravelAlbany #Albany
